OPPO is prepping up for the launch of the OPPO A55 4G smartphone. The device was spotted at BIS and NBTC certification a few days back. Additionally, the handset’s live images were leaked courtesy of NCC certification. The smartphone is tipped to launch in India by the end of September. However, OPPO is yet to officially reveal the launch date of the OPPO A44 5G for the Indian market. Well, ahead of the official launch, the OPPO A55 4G render is now leaked courtesy of91Mobiles. The render showcases us the phone’s entire design.
OPPO A55 4G Render Leaked
If we have a look at the newly leaked renders, we can see that the OPPO A55 4G will feature a punch-hole display, instead of a water-drop notch as seen on the OPPO A55 5G model. The punch-hole will be located at the top left corner of the display, which will include a selfie camera. The phone’s power button will be placed on the left side, while at the right side the power button will be located, which will double up as a fingerprint sensor. The OPPO A55 4G will sport a triple-camera setup. The rear camera module will consist of a 50MP primary main camera. The handset is tipped to launch in the Black, Green, and Gradient Blue colour option. The specifications of the OPPO A55 4G such as display size and hardware details remain to be known currently.
The past leak suggests us that the OPPO A55 4G will pack a 5000mAh battery which will have an 18W fast charging support. OPPO had launched the OPPO A55 5G model at the beginning of this year. To recall, the OPPO A55 5G comes with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display. The display panel has an HD+ 720 x 1600 pixels resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the A55 5G is powered by Dimensity 700 SoC. The device comes with 6GB of RAM and packs 128GB of internal storage. In the optics department, the A55 5G has a 13MP rear-facing camera and a pair of 2MP depth and macro camera units. The smartphone sports a 8MP selfie camera.
The device measures 163.9×75.7×8.4mm and weighs 186 grams. On the software front, the A55 5G boots Android 11-based ColorOS 11 out of the box. The smartphone offers connectivity features such as 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C port.
