New Poco C series smartphone has been teased by the company in India, all set to release on September 30. The launch teaser doesn’t confirm the name, but all leaks hint at Poco C4 launch in India, successor to the very successful Poco C3, launched in the country last year. The official Poco India account on Twitter confirmed the new upcoming Poco phone will be a C-series device, the launch event will start at 12PM on September 30.
The teaser image says, “C U Soon,” directing it will be a model in the Poco C series.
Poco C3 was tremendously successful in India, holding a record of a million units sold in India in January, which grew to over two million in August.
No other details are out, and we know nothing in specific what the upcoming Poco phone will offer, but definitely will be a substantial upgrade over Poco C3. Given it will be a value-for-money budget smartphone, Poco C4 price in India may start at under Rs 10,000, and it will again be a rebranded Redmi phone in India.
Poco C4 India launch will take place on September 30, and the device is expected to go on sale at the upcoming Flipkart Big Billion Day sale. The e-commerce platform already promised there will be exclusive releases, and hence Poco C4 first sale will probably happen during the Big Billion Day sale starting on October 7. Poco C4 launch event will start at 12PM on September 30.
