Flow of arrivals set to increase says premier

(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 9 - Premier Mario Draghi said Wednesdaythat close to 24,000 refugees have arrived in Italy from Ukraineso far following the Russian invasion."As of March 8, 21,095 Ukrainian citizens had arrived," Draghitold a question time session in the Lower House."As of today it is 23,872. They arrived primarily via theItalian-Slovenian border."Over 90% are women and children."Yesterday, there were 10,500 women, today 12,000."Yesterday there were 2,000 men, today 2,200."There were 8,500 children yesterday and 9,700 today."The flow is certainly set to increase".
