Apple TV supports NVIDIA Shield devices

Apple is filling one of the few (but important) gaps left in its streaming video strategy. The tech giant’s Apple TV app is now available for the NVIDIA Shield player, allowing you to access content such as Ted Lasso and The Morning Show through one of the more well-known standalone Android TV devices. You can use Dolby Vision HDR to watch in 4K format, and NVIDIA is promoting Google Assistant playback con

trol and AI upgrades for those non-native 4K movies and shows.

This is a more expensive way to add Apple TV streaming-you can get the app through Google’s $50 Chromecast, and it supports Dolby Vision. And suppose it is not yet available on your smart TV or game console. However, if you already own the Shield or just prefer its higher performance, then you don’t have to try Apple’s services.
