Xiaomi Top Flagship MI 12 Ultra Exposed with SONY Sensors Probably

Xiaomi’s top-of-the-line flagship, named Mi 12 Ultra, it will succeed Mi 11 Ultra as xiaomi’s next-generation imaging flagship, according to SamMobile.

According to SamMobile, Mi 12 Ultra has three rear cameras, which are likely to have a 50-megapixel main camera, a 48-megapixel telephoto and a 48-megapixel Ultra wide Angle. The main camera is likely to be a SONY sensor.

As we all know, the previous generation of flagship Mi 11 Ultra is mainly taken by Samsung GN2. This sensor has a 1/1.12-inch extra-large base with 1.4μm pixels in single size and 2.8μm pixels in four in one. It is the largest image sensor with a large base at that time.

In addition, Samsung GN2 also supports Dual Pixel Pro for the first time, coupled with HDR, Smart ISO, Smart ISO Pro and other technologies, it can greatly improve the brightness of night view, it can be called night vision device.

The mi 12 Ultra is likely to use a SONY image sensor, as the latest Mi 12 Pro uses SONY’s new image sensor IMX707 (the previous mi 11 Pro used Samsung GN2), so we can’t rule out the possibility of using a SONY image sensor in the MI 12 Ultra.

In addition, the Mi 12 Ultra will debut with a video system built by Xiaomi and Leica.

As is known to all, Leica once cooperated with Huawei, which brought the most classic “German taste” to the mobile phone field. Through this cooperation, Huawei soared in the field of photography, and meanwhile, Huawei enhanced its brand influence and successfully stood firm in the ultra-high-end mobile phone market.
