The technology giant and smartphone manufacturer, Oppo has just launched the Oppo A16 in India. The A16 has become the latest smartphone from the company in its budget segment and will also go on sale later today via Amazon India. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 and comes coupled with up to 4GB of RAM. Let’s take a complete look at the specifications and price of this budget smartphone from Oppo.

Oppo A16 Specifications

The Oppo A16 comes with a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD display with support for standard 60Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC and is coupled with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The display has a v-shaped notch very similar to most devices at the top center and it houses the front 8MP camera sensor for selfies and video calling. For extra security, the smartphone comes with a fingerprint scanner mounted on the power button at the side.

In the rear camera department, the device comes with a dual-camera setup. There is a 13MP primary sensor paired with a 2MP secondary sensor. It will run on ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 out of the box. The smartphone comes with a big 5,000mAh battery with support for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. There is also a headphone jack for the wired earphone lovers.

The Oppo A16 has launched in a single variant for India. It comes with 4GB+64GB and is priced at Rs 13,990 for the same. The device will be available in two colours – Pearl Blue and Crystal Black. As mentioned above, the Oppo A16 will be available for the Indian market starting today via Amazon’s official website and mobile application. For the specifications, the Oppo A16 looks a tad bit expensive, but if there’s a card offer, it can become a good buy.
