'Shark Tank India's Ashneer Grover Reveals The Dark Side Of Fame; Says He's Up At 3 AM Deleting "Abusive Comments"

Shark Tank India has kept viewers entertained with its intriguing concept. The business reality show blew up when it arrived on SonyLIV back in December 2021. Even after its run, the show manages to grab headlines thanks to the jury featured on it. The judges of the series, owners of some of the leading businesses and brands in the country have become celebrities in their own right. But if you ask Ashneer Grover all the fame comes with a new set of challenges.

Ashneer Grover is best known for his frank and sometimes savage reactions to pitches on Shark Tank India. His witty lines, especially his “doglapan” phrase instantly went viral as meme material. But not all of the attention is good. The founder of BharatPe in a recent interview with comedians Rohan Josh and Sahil Shah opened up about the dark side of fame. Talking about some of the negative feedback he gets for his comments on Shark Tank India episodes, he said, "Bahut gaali padti hai.(I get a lot of abuses)”

He further revealed that he’s up late at night delating mean comments. “Abhi bhi raat ko chhup chhup kar main 3 baje uth kar gande comments to delete maarta hoon, (even now I quietly wake up at 3 am and delete abusive comments)” he added.
