Chinese smartphone brand Itel has unveiled two new smartphones, named A58 and A58 Pro. The new budget smartphones from Itel have been launched in the Nigerian and Kenyan markets only; as of now, we don’t know when these smartphones will be coming to India. Both smartphones share several common specifications, with the RAM and internal storage being the key differentiators. Itel A58, A58 Pro prices

The Itel A58 is said to cost NGN 35,000 (around Rs 6,300) in Nigeria and KES 8,999 (around Rs 6,000) in Kenya. The smartphone will be available to purchase in Nigeria starting next month, while it’s already available in Kenya. However, there’s no word on the pricing and availability for the Itel A58 Pro. The two smartphones come in three colours: Dreamy Purple, Sky Cyan, and Starry Black.

Itel A58, A58 Pro specifications

Itel A58 and A58 Pro feature 6.6-inch HD+ (720 x 1600 pixels) screen with waterdrop notch and a standard refresh rate of 60Hz. Both the smartphones are powered by the UniSoC SC7731E quad-core processor. These smartphones come with the i-boost 1.0 feature, which promises a “smoother mobile experience,” according to the company.

The Itel A58 comes with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, whereas the A58 Pro gets 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, with an option to expand storage using a microSD card.

Turning both the phones around, you will find an AI-powered dual-camera setup consisting of a 5MP primary sensor paired and a QVGA sensor. Both the phones feature a 5MP camera on the front housed inside the waterdrop notch. The itel A58 and A58 Pro boast a 4,000mAh battery. You also get a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor on both of these smartphones.
