Veteran actor Karishma Manandhar has launched Intex’s home appliances in the Nepali market. At a press meet organized in Kathmandu on Wednesday, it was announced that she is the Managing Director of Risik Trading Concern. It is the official distributor of Intex brand of electronic goods such as television, refrigerator, washing machine and more.
According to a press statement released by Risik Trading Concern, Intex has been in the world market for 25 years. This is the first time that Nepal has entered the field of Intex home appliances. Intex's mobile phones entered the Nepali market eight years ago.
Intex products have a warranty from one to 10 years. The company has set up service centers across the country. Actor and managing director Manandhar said that she is confident that the general public will choose Intex while buying home electronics.
