Buenos Aires – Average cost of a unit of beer in Argentina’s capital Buenos Aires is $1.79. Hotels charge $2.53 whereas supermarket prices are $1.05 per unit.

Kyiv – Capital of Ukraine, Kyiv has the second most affordable beer prices in the world. The average cost is $1.76 per unit. While hotels charge $2.65, the rate in supermarket is $0.87 per unit.

Cape Town – The capital city of South Africa, Cape Town has the cheapest beer in the world. While hotels charge USD 2.40 per unit, supermarket rates are USD 0.96 per unit. The average works out at $1.68.

If you are visiting any of these countries and love beer, it would be a lot of fun without burning a hole in your pocket. Talking specifically about hotel rates of beer, these countries are among the most affordable. Other capital cities like Tunis (Tunisia) and Colombo (Sri Lanka) also have affordable rate of beer.

In terms of supermarket rates, the most affordable cities are Rome (Italy), Warsaw (Poland), Accra (Ghana), Madrid (Spain) and Skopje (North Macedonia). Depending on how and where you like to have your beer, you can load up accordingly.
