Keri Lynn Stromski of Jamesport, who valiantly fought Stage IV breast cancer, will receive the inaugural Medal of Valor posthumously. Her family is expected to accept the award.

Participants are encouraged to wear pink or teal. Seating for the event will cost $125 per person or $95 for breast cancer survivors. Tickets can be purchased by calling the coalition office in Riverhead at (631)208-8889. For corporate sponsorship or to contribute a gift basket, contact the event chair Melanie McEvoy Zuhoski at (917)699-5948 or email [email protected]

This year’s raffle will be held in a socially-distanced manner at the organization’s office located at 185 Old Country Road in Riverhead. The gift baskets can previewed at the office from April 1 to 3 and during the gala. Those who cannot attend the gala can still participate in the raffle, which will benefit the Keri Lynn Stromski Stage IV Breast Cancer Research and Support Fund.

The underwriter for this year’s gala is the Simmons Point Group of James Montgomery Scott LLC led by Gary Lukachinski.
