New Delhi | Jagran Tech Desk: Chinese smartphone manufacturer Realme has recently launched Realme XT in India, which is the first smartphone in India to include 64 MP camera. Xiaomi, another Chinese brand has also recently launched another 64 MP device Redmi 8 Pro in China and it is expected to debut in India soon. Both these companies are known for their mid and budget range of smartphones and users in India do like these phones quite a lot. Here we are going to tell you about the features of both these smartphones.
Realme XT has been launched in India at an initial price of Rs 15,999. The phone comes in three storage options 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 64GB and 8GB + 128GB. Its 6GB + 64GB variant is priced at Rs 16,999 while 8GB + 128GB variant costs Rs 16,999. The smartphone can be purchased in Pearl Blue and Pearl White color options. Its first sale will be held on 16 September.
The Redmi Note 8 Pro, on the other hand, is yet to be launched in India. It was recently launched in China in three storage options 6GB 64GB, 6GB 128GB, and 8GB 128GB. Its base variant is priced at CNY 1,399 (about Rs 14,000), 6GB 128GB variant at CNY 1,599 (about Rs 16,000) and high-end variant is priced at CNY 1,799 (about Rs 18,000).Also Read Apple kicks off the pre-booking of iPhone SE 5G (2022); check details here

Design and display
Realme XT has a 6.40 inch Full HD Plus AMOLED display, while Redmi Note 8 Pro has a 6.53 inch Full HD Plus display. Both smartphones come with a waterdrop notch display. The front panel of Realme XT has Corning Gorilla Glass protection, while Redmi Note 8 Pro is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass on both front and back. Realme XT has an in-display fingerprint sensor and Redmi Note 8 Pro includes a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Realme XT includes Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC processor while Redmi Note 8 Pro is based on MediaTek Helio G90T processor. Both smartphones offer RAM options up to 8GB. Meanwhile, external memoryof these two smartphones can be increased up to 256GB via microSD card. Both smartphones work on the operating system based on Android 9 Pie. Realme XT has a 4,000 mAh battery with 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging support while Redmi Note 8 Pro includes 4,500 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. Both these devices support USB Type-C port.

Among camera specifications, both Realme XT and Redmi Note 8 Pro include 64 MP quad camera setup. Details include 64 MP primary camera, 8 MP secondary camera, 2 MP sensor depth and 2 MP micro camera.
